THE CHAPEL, Ilkley Studio
Our flagship studio, South Chapel, is a stunning Victorian chapel set within Ilkley Cemetery, just a few minutes' walk from Ilkley town centre. Simply head into the cemetery—we're the chapel on the left, you can't miss it!
Iconic, unique and utterly breathtaking, the Chapel is loved by our community for its magical energy and peaceful woodland setting.
The hot room features a state-of-the-art heating system, reaching 40–42 degrees for our hot yoga classes. The Chapel also houses a beautiful second shala for workshops and retreats, plus a recently renovated treatment room where we offer Ayurvedic Yoga Massage.
WHAT TO BRING
Light clothing, water, a yoga mat, and two towels (one for the yoga room, one for wiping down after class). Mats and towels are also available to rent.
AMENITIES
The Chapel has unisex toilets and a space to leave shoes, coats, and belongings. We don't have showers (we chose a chapel over showers!) but we do provide washcloths, deodorant, hair bobbles, and sanitary products to help you freshen up after class.
Complimentary herbal tea and fruit after class.
Our retail area stocks yoga mats, towels, water bottles, incense, THYC branded products, refrigerated organic coconut water and healthy vegan snacks for after class.
THE ENGINE HOUSE, Leeds Studio
THYC's newest location is just minutes from Leeds City Centre, in the heart of the newly developed South Bank. Come out the back of the train station and through Granary Wharf, over the canal onto Water Lane (near Waterlane Boathouse). You'll find us behind the Midnight Bell Pub, within The Round Foundry courtyard.
Formerly a power source for The Tower Works, our Engine House studio blends exposed brick, steel beams, and original metalwork for the perfect industrial vibe.
WHAT TO BRING
Light clothing, water, a yoga mat, and two towels (one to cover your mat, one for wiping down after class). Mats and towels also available to rent.
AMENITIES
Unisex toilet and cloakroom for shoes, coats, and belongings. We don't have showers but two private cubicles with sinks and towels for changing and washing, plus our handmade Chapel Apothecary hand wash.
Vanity stations with hairdryers and mirrors, plus complimentary deodorant, hair bobbles, and sanitary products.
Chilled filtered water on tap, and complimentary herbal tea and fruit after class.
Our retail area stocks mats, towels, water bottles, incense, THYC branded products, and yoga clothing, refrigerated organic coconut water and electrolytes as well as vegan snacks for after class.
